"Wicked" BBQ

Yesterday, June 8, 2008, we had a barbeque for April and Eric. They are moving to England within weeks. We are all so bummed that they are leaving UT. There are hopes of visits to England and them coming back to visit. They are in big trouble if they don't keep in touch. One of the first games I played with April, I remember her doing the circle of trust line from "Meet the Parents" and then she did the line from "Austin Powers" "you complete me" (we play defense together and we know how to cover each other. She can go up for some offensive plays knowing she is covered until she gets back and vice/versa). I knew from then on that April was a keeper. I just want April and Eric to know they are great friends and they will be missed by everyone that had the opportunity to know them. Good luck in England and have fun! Don't forget about us in UT though.

No, it was my husband. What a culinary artist he is. (I promise he is not gay)

My husband had the BRILLIANT idea to make a sign for the team to let them know where the party was. I think he was more excited about the party than anyone.

As we were walking the sign out to the mailbox the Merrill's showed up. Corey showed the sign to them and Stacey asked her husband, "What does wicked mean, I don't get it?" He had to explain to her that was our team name. Thanks for the laugh Stacey.
