The pictures you have been waiting for...

Here's Bailey!!!
Corey's favorite picture of Bailey shortly after she was born. He compares her to Rocky. So not a flattering picture of her, but she is still cute.

Proud Dad
Yeah! Corey got some pictures of me with Bailey at the hospital. Somehow we managed not to get any pictures of me and Brennen at the hospital when he was born.
Camrey and Brennen meet Bailey. Camrey loves to hold Bailey. She was fighting everyone off so she could hold Bailey longer. Brennen loves to rub Bailey's head. He says her hair tickles.

We had a lot of visitors at the hospital. Grandma and Grandpa Martin, Grandpa Joel and Grandma T and Kayla, Grandma and Grandpa Whittle, Aunt Heather, Aunt Ashley and Uncle Dustin, Uncle Seth, Lantz and Angie Hansen and boys, Angie's sister Shelby and friend Kari, and my friend Steph. I think that was all the visitors at the hospital, but then I was drugged some of the time.

I got to leave the hospital a day earlier than a usual c-section. So Saturday I was released and home. Happy day for me! Here are some pictures at home.

Disney on Ice!

Camrey had so much fun at Princesses on Ice last year that we decided to surprise both Camrey and Brennen with Disney on Ice this year. We kept it a surprise up until we got to the ESA. Corey was less than thrilled to go, but made it fun for the kids. Thanks for being a trooper Honey! :)
And yes this is me 9 months pregnant... I thought I would have a hard time sitting on the hard seats the whole time, but I made it.
We even saw Angie and Dane of "the Hansen's" there. Neither one of us knew we were going for some reason and then we ended up being just rows apart.
Camrey wishes she would have dressed up for the event like she did last year, but still had a good time. She was a little upset that Sleeping Beauty wasn't there this year.
It started out with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy out on the ice. Then shortly after came Goofy. The kids smiled and clapped and were excited to see the characters. Mickey and the gang started out on an African safari and here comes the Lion King. Camrey really enjoyed when Simba and Nala were skating and Simba lifted Nala in the air.
Then we got to experience Under the Sea with Ariel and Sebastian and Ursala.

The kids pretty much sat like this thru the whole thing
After that Lilo and Stitch came out and did their thing.

By this time Brennen's attention span started to get thin. Camrey enjoyed the whole thing except that her mean parents wouldn't spend any money on the overpriced popcorn, snow cones, and light up toys. I just can't justify it. I told them we would buy light up toys at Walmart. After a short intermission the event ended with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell and crew. I think the kids really liked that they flew.
This was a great experience for the kids and they had a great time. They were really good. I have to say I have some pretty good kids. And my husband isn't too shabby.
Perfect ending to a perfect day

I love you, DAED, DAED!

Brennen loves to wrestle, fight with his Dad or be tickled by him. The other night they had a great time and I just had to share the pictures. Don't mind Corey's hair... it is really hot, I know! As for the title, every time Brennen wants to get Corey's attention he says Dad twice with this accent we are not sure where it came from. It is cute even though I don't know exactly how to type it.

The anticipation of the tickle...

Not the pit!!!

Does it get any better than this???
Best buddies...

Baby Shower

So my wonderful in-laws threw us a non-traditional baby shower.
I was not expecting any baby showers due to the fact that I have already had two kids. The thing with baby shower's are that they are not for me. They are like a first birthday party for the new little baby. Anyway, Ashley sent out invitations and we had an evening of egg cakes,
ring around the rosie for the little cousins,
and opening presents. I want to thank everyone for coming a supporting little BAM :). Thank you to my mother-in-law for a dang cute quilt. I will have to post a picture later. Thank you to Melanie for the cute little outfits for Bailey to wear this summer. Thank you to Ashley for the warm fuzzy blanket she made. Thank you to Brooke for the cute little summer clothes. I think good time were had by all.
I know that Heather wished she could be there, but she has been fighting a cold. I know she will be to the next family get together... she can't stay away forever :)
Thanks again wonderful family!

My little monkey's

My kids love to climb trees. Their favorite is a curly willow in our backyard. This is because there is not much involved in getting into the tree. Camrey has recently tried to climb a tree in our front yard, but she just doesn't have enough strength to pull herself up on the first branch. I am not encouraging any extra climbing that could cause a broken leg or arm so we haven't helped her onto the first branch. For now they are good climbing the one in the backyard.

Drawing and Painting on the walls?!?!

So reading the title you would think that I have this horror story of one or both of my two angels getting into art supplies and making a huge mess all over the walls and then there would be me pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to clean up the mess and how not to murder my two children for the mess they made. If you thought this well you would be wrong this time. My kids have learned that they only draw and paint on paper... I, on the other hand, have not learned that lesson. About 5 or 6 months ago or more I don't know if Camrey asked me or if I just decided that I was going to draw some princesses on Camrey's wall and paint them. I got as far as drawing Belle's one eye and half of her face. I never finished and until about 3 weeks ago Camrey had Belle's one eye looking down on her. A little freaky, but I just figured one day I would wash it off and we would figure out something else for her wall. Then, one Saturday I was cleaning the house and only got so far and decided I would try to finish Belle's face. As I got going I decided I would add the other princesses. The kids and I spent pretty much the whole day in Camrey's room and Camrey and Brennen kept saying, "I can't believe it!" and "This is amazing!" Camrey then started to ask when are we going to paint it. Which meant more time spent in her room. While I was drawing I had put the pencil down for a minute to erase some mistakes and Brennen picked up the pencil and barely put a little mark on the wall and I yelled, "Brennen! no don't write on the wall!" What is wrong with this picture? I can write on the walls, but my kids can't? I am so mean. So here are the pictures and progress. If you are an art major, please no judging. I am NOT a professional.

So I am now finished painting the princesses. You can see that the princesses are not exactly small. They pretty much take up the whole wall. It still looks like it needs some work which I am debating just making it a full wall mural. I could add the fairies next to Sleeping Beauty and find somewhere to add Mrs. Potts, Coggsworth, and those characters somewhere by Belle and then add the mice next to Cinderella. It seems like a big project to start so again I am still just debating. I do need to add some birds by Cinderella's hand so it doesn't look like she is just raising her hand to nothing. Oh well... it is a work in progress.
